Day One
This is the day that we begin our journey to the Promised Land!
Day Two
Arrive Israel and travel via the Valley of Armageddon where the final battle will take place before the Lord will return to bring redemption and everlasting peace! View Mt. Carmel where Elijah had his contest with the prophets of Baal. Dinner and overnight on the shores Galilee. Day Three. Awake to an inspirational view of the Sea of Galilee. Travel around the Lake of Galilee and up to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to Capernaum, the center of the Jesus ministry. Here, see the remains of the synagogue that he taught in. At the Igal Alon Museum, see an ancient 2,000-year-old fishing boat uncovered in the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee for a time of praise and worship. Continue to the Jordan River where you will have the opportunity to be baptized. Overnight Galilee.
Day Four
This morning we will travel the strategic Golan Heights to the Northern Galilee. We will have an amazing opportunity to visit an Israeli Army Base and show our support to the soldiers. We will continue to the beautiful nature reserve of Tel Dan, one of the sources of the Jordan River. Here we will walk along the Dan River and see ancient ruins which include the Gate to the City of Dan from the time of Abraham. We will then visit Caesarea Philippi, where Peter first spoke of his belief in Jesus as Messiah and where King David may have written Psalm 42. Overnight at our hotel in the Galilee. Day Five
This morning we travel the Jordan Valley passing Mt. Gilboa where King Saul and Jonathan fell in
Battle. Pass Bet Shean, capital of the Decapolis. We continue through the Jordan Valley passing Jericho and the Mt. of Temptation. At last, we ascend the Judean Mountains and prepare your hearts and souls for our triumphal entry to His beloved city, Jerusalem! We pause atop the Mt. of Olives for the most magnificent view of the Jerusalem and The Temple Mount. From here, we will walk down the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day Six
This morning, we head south through the Judean Desert to the lowest spot on earth, The Dead Sea. Stop at Qumran, where the oldest scriptures in existence were discovered in desert caves. Continue to Massada, the final stand of the Jewish people in 73AD. We will take a cable car up to Massada for a magnificent view and walk through the Herodian ruins. View Mt Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land before his final work was completed. We then will stop for a float on the Dead Sea before we start our ascent up the Judean Mountains. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day Seven
This morning, we will walk through the Old City of Jerusalem. Continue on to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City where we will view the ancient Roman Cardo and the Broad Wall. Continue to the Temple Institute where we view the reconstruction of worship vessels used in the Temple and the garments of the High Priest, which have been made for the usage when the Temple will be rebuilt. See a presentation at the Burnt House. We will have time to pray at the Western Wall. Visit the Southern Excavations and the Southern Steps of the Temple. We will walk the Via Dolorosa, the way of the cross, to the Pools of Bethesda. We will then stop for a view of Bethlehem. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day Nine
Visit the House of Caiaphas, where Jesus spent his last night. See some of the latest excavations of the City of David. Continue to the Israel Museum where we will see the Dead Sea Scrolls and the large scale Model of Jerusalem during the time of Jesus. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day Eight
We then continue to Golgotha and the Garden Tomb for communion service. Visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial. Stop at the ancient port city of Caesarea where the gospel first went out to the gentiles and where Paul was imprisoned. Visit the ancient Roman Amphitheater before stopping for a cappuccino along the Mediterranean Sea. Here we will pause to enjoy the magnificent view of the Sea and the remains of past Roman and Crusader civilizations Head to ancient Jaffa, where Jonah sail, and for our Farewell dinner. We then transfer to the airport for departure back to the U.S.
